OK, so I’ve mentioned in previous posts about my new direct purchase feature, where you can now buy all my ebooks directly from me in both ePub and Kindle format. Well, I’ve expanded on this option to give it some more bells and whistles to make it more comprehensive.
Promotion Price-Matching
I’ve already done this over the past couple of months for the Smashwords Authors Give Back Sale, and this is a feature I plan to continue. Basically, I’ll honor the sale price of my book on my own store when I opt in to something like one of the Smashwords sales (where only the ePub version of my books is available). This way, I can offer both the ePub and Kindle version at the same discount price.
Ebook delivery and support by BookFunnel:
Downloading ebook files onto your device can be tricky. BookFunnel makes it easy by providing step-by-step instructions, specific to your device. And if you really get stuck, their support team is happy to help.
Whenever you make a direct purchase, you will also get an email from BookFunnel with a download link and walk-through. (In the case of pre-orders, this email will be delayed until the early release date.)
